Rotary Antiques & Collectables Auction 31st July 2010
Rotary Gozo held a one-off one-day auction of Antiques and Collectibles raising funds for the FSEG Project to acquire a Storage and Distribution Centre in Gozo. This will be used to increase and provide equipment to those in need in the Community.
We would like to thank the GOZO SPCA, Circolo Gozitano and Gozo Express for supporting the event. We will publish the results here shortly.
The main functions of our society are to assist the sick and the elderly in every way and to help improve and increase home facilities available for the safety, welfare, comfort and convenience of the sick and the elderly in Gozo. This includes the delivery of Meals-on-wheels and the provision of equipment including hoists, specialised beds, ripple-mattresses, and other equipment.

Auction Sale 
Sat,31st Jul, 2010 A RARE EVENT IN GOZO!
An Auction SALE has been held on 31st July 2010: It was organised mainly by our current suporters The Rotary Club Gozo. Items included art objects, including clocks, statuettes, paintings, crockery sets, miniature teapots/cups/saucers, decorative vases, ornate glass table-lamps; and furniture, including marble-topped carved tables, cupboard, side table, corner showcase, and other furniture, etc. Most items have been sold, but a few remain, and these may be viewed at request (Tel: 21553336)

Projects
Over many years the funds we collected have been used to donate much needed equipment for the various units in the Gozo General Hospital. (See Donations and Loans section).
Every year, the FSEG provided items of equipment for the benefit of patients in Rezidenza Sant'Anna, in the Male Elderly Residence, in the Psychiatric Wards and in other sections of the Gozo General Hospital.
In 2009, we committed more funds for the needs of the sick and the elderly in their own homes, including patient lifters and several electrically-controlled variable -position beds to assist family members to care for bedridden patients. In addition, we continued with our ongoing procurement and supply of wheelchairs, crutches, mattresses, etc. and, of course, the Meals-on-Wheels delivery service.
In 2010, with the help of Rotary Club Gozo, we shall be helping the St. Dominic Home for the Elderly in Victoria, which charitable Home is currently being extended, by paying for the total cost of furbishing a complete room. Another project is to buy or rent a disitribution centre for the FSEG Equipment Service.
