The FSEG hospital visitors try to help relieve the boredom and inactivity by encouraging the patients to do something active and useful.
Some years ago, an active FSEG Committee member conducted handicraft courses for the elderly. Using polystyrene material, models of historic buildings, farmhouses and churches are built and painted producing interesting results. Those elderly persons who joined these courses received a lot of benefit in the form of relaxation, enjoyment and a sense of achievement from this exercise.

Recently we provided balls, skittles, hoops and other items to encourage the elderly at St. Anne's Residence for elderly females to exercise and improve their morale.
In 209, we also refurbished the Gymnasium in the Psychiatric and Male Geriatric section of GGH with a full set of keep-fit equipment including 5 new exercise machines, large balls and 3 trampolines.
